Milan Fashion Week closed its doors last Monday. Our Pinktrotters fashion insiders, Eleonora Branca and Tatiana Biggi, were present at the event, getting the exclusives for Forte Village. Our insiders got all the inside scoops on fashion shows, events, and special highlights on the first day of this magical week.
They dealt with fashion shows, presentations and city caos, thanks to Ford Italia, driving a super black elegant Ford Kuga!

Insiders: We kicked off fashion week all glammed up thanks to Ki6? Who are you?
This Italian clothing brand made us shine and stand out during all of our MFW15 events.

After a fantastic breakfast with fellow Pinktrotters as Corso Como 10, we attended the Uma Wang fashion show. This Chinese designer left everyone speeechless with her catwalk collection – skillfully balances between designs of different volumes, lengths, and material. The fabric for the stylish Maxi dresses, the ultrathin jackets paired with oversized knitwear made a fantastic collection, chapeau!

La Perla captivate us with her autumn and winter lingerie collection, where "Lace Impossible" is the undisputed star. We were invited to an exclusive showroom where we witnessed another fashion show and saw more of the unique materials used in this collections. We were mesmerized by the intricate detail on the silk pants which were a basketball inspired line: Athleisure." The athletically stylish loo was embellished with embroidery and gold thread.

After a much needed coffe break in via Montenapoleone – one of the oldest cafe's, Cova – we indulged in Paula Cademortori's eccentric collection. Her bags have made a name for themselves around the world, and her eye for creativity has won our attention. But the novelty of the presentaiton was the shoe capsule collection: 6 iconic models were dressed in heels- laced up ankle boots with ritzy cut out shoe sculpture with disticnt color contrasts. Our favorite? Boots red lacquer, of course!

Our expedition through Milan Fashion Week didn't end there. (We are truly the epitome of Pinktrotters! Always on the move!).
We next moved to Serapian where we fell in love with their travel accessories which are a Pinktrotters' best friend! Their simple and elegant travel line satifisies every Pinktrotters taste with everything from trolleys, tote bags, and cosmetic bags.
We took a short detour to Armani Bamboo Bar for a toast to celebrate the first full day of fashion and fun.
Our next stop was Pinko Boutique for the launch of their exquisite jewelry sneaker collection, "Shine Baby Shine." Obviously there's no fashion week without parties, that's why we met up with some friends to share laughs and drinks in one of Milan's most sophisticated boutiques.
Our journey ended at Costume National Cocktail which was the perfect culmination of a wonderful night marked with the perfect combination of art, music, and fashion.

Stay tuned to find out about other great events from Pinktrotters Eleonora and Greta!
